Biography
Li Xin studied at Tsinghua University and in the eight-year clinical medicine program at Peking Union Medical College, completing integrated bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral training. After graduating with a doctorate, Li Xin worked at the Plastic Surgery Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. Li Xin completed standardized surgical residency training at the Chinese People’s Liberation Army General Hospital (301 Hospital). Li Xin received a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council and spent one year as a visiting scholar in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Michigan, USA.
As a young physician, I am still an unknown novice in the highly competitive field of plastic surgery. I truly do not presume to claim expertise in any particular area; however, I have indeed received formal higher education and professional training. If I am able to practice independently, it is because I stand on the shoulders of giants.
Facial and Neck Rejuvenation: Since my residency, I have received meticulous guidance from Professor Ma Jiguang. During my advanced study at the University of Michigan, I was taught by Dr. Cederna and Dr. Gilman, integrating and synthesizing the strengths of these experts.
Rhinoplasty: During my residency, I received patient instruction from Professor Ma Jiguang and Associate Professor Li Zhanqiang, which gave me a relatively deep understanding of rhinoplasty. During my advanced study at the University of Michigan, I carefully studied the complete technical concepts of rhinoplasty and was taught by Dr. Cederna and Dr. Gilman, gaining a deeper understanding of rhinoplasty and more comprehensive surgical concepts.
